Kenneth W. Harrington was born and raised primarily in South Eastern Virginia.  He earned honorary achievements for his efforts in both his Associates and later his Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology.  During this same period of time he also worked within the Virginia Peninsula Domestic Violence/Shelter systems, as well as assisted in several psychological research projects.  Upon graduating in 1995 with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University, he later moved to Connecticut where he completed his Masters of Arts Degree in Psychological Counseling via the University of Connecticut.
Since earning his Masters of Arts Degree in Psychological Counseling in 1997, Kenneth Harrington has participated in a large variety of mental health outreach treatment roles and delivery of services.  These roles have included, but not limited to providing direct clinical care to clients as a Primary Psychological Therapist, within Intensive Hospital and Partial Hospital Programs, as well as via his own currently thriving private practice.  Kenneth has also participated as an Emergency Psychiatric Crisis Clinician for over 18 years, attaining the role of Director of Emergency Psychiatric Services in one of the lead hospitals in Connecticut.  Simultaneously over the past 18 years, Kenneth has also worked as a mental health specialist for at least three internationally prominent managed care and disability based insurance companies, assisting in evaluations of a wide array of psychological and substance abuse clients.  Beyond this experience, Kenneth has also participated within the role as “Consultant” with several law groups/agencies, in order to help clarify the psychological needs and presentations of their clientele.  In addition, for the past several years Kenneth Harrington has also been recognized as the founder and current president of his own thriving mental health private practice and consulting firm, located in the northeastern portion of Connecticut, i.e. offering mental health treatment and consulting services to individuals, schools, families, groups and businesses.
